Dr.Muchelule Yusuf Wanjala, (Ph.D.)

Dr. Muchelule Is an Alumni of Jomo Kenyatta University of Agriculture & Technology (JKUAT)  and a Grasshopper faculty member (U.S.A), PMI Certified member (U.S.A), Microsoft certified IT professional, ISO certified Internal Auditor as well as an External examiner of Azteca University in Mexico and Canada, a scholarly friend to African University of Zimbabwe an author of various academic literatures globally and a consultant in ICT and project management fields locally and globally. 

He also has a vast experience working as a lecturer in private and public Universities in Kenya such as: Umma, JKUAT, Moi, University of Nairobi and Masinde Muliro Universities in the area of ICT and Project Management, apart from lecturing he has been a key member in writing and reviewing most curriculums in the same fields that has been approved by the Commission of University Education. He has also been a key team member in projects to various local, international, multinational and non-governmental entities projects such as Metta Metta Foundations, MUMCOP, AMREF-Maanisha Project, ACORD, Mubadiroon, International Rescue Committee (IRC), APDK and UNFPA

WORK & EXPERIENCE 

Worked under the office of Project Planning Monitoring and Evaluation (department of child protection) performing the following duties:-

  1. Developed new strategy, clarifying our core services in society development.
  2. Investigate and assess alleged child abuse/neglect complaints, often under time constraints and stressful conditions from war.
  3. Visit clients in their residence to assess suitability of living conditions and capabilities of parents and/or caretakers; evaluate the presence and level of risk to the client; make decisions to remove the client from unsuitable living conditions, according to legal guidelines and restrictions.
  4. Prepare extensive court reports and associated legal documents; testify in court; assist attorneys in the preparation of court actions; coordinate service of subpoenas; respond to inquiries regarding court actions.
  5. Interpret policies, rules, and regulations to clients, applicants, and other involved parties.
  6. Participate in staff development programs to increase technical competence.
  7. Participate in community planning for the protection and care of children, and to identify potentially harmful influences to children. Developed new strategy, clarifying our core services in society development.

Agency for Cooperation and Research in Development (ACORD) Worked as a technical advisory of youth projects in Northern Africa covering Sub Sahara regions 

Duties:

  1. Designing and coordinating Cooperative/ competence based & popularized training (theoretical and practical training) in selected institutions
  2. an assessment of the relevance and effectiveness of projects interventions
  3. an understanding of the prevalence of slavery in the war area
  4. an understanding of external factors relevant to the success and contribution of our programs.
  5. Coordinating cooperative training implementation in industry and Institutions
  6. Strengthening the capacity of selected institutions for the implementation of cooperative training with dual aspect

  1. 2018: Technical and Financial Audit for a Safe Programming in Kakuma & Dadaab Refugee Camps by International Rescue Committee
  2. 2018: Creating Awareness on food security in Kakamega County focusing on horticultural farming of vegetables and fruits suitable with the climate conditions of the place.
  3. 2018: Baseline study on impact of horticultural farming (fruits, vegetable and flower farming) in nomadic community’s empowerment on Maasai communities in Kajiado County.
  4. 2018: Baseline Study of the Market Structure of Stakeholders Management on Implementation of Mango Farming Projects in Murang’a County.
  5. 2017: Research project survey on Effect of Project Management Practices on Performance of Food Security Projects in Kilifi County, focusing on horticultural projects in the county through baseline survey.
